Futurestars Charity continues to support youth development through sport, including initiatives that help young people participate confidently in rugby league.
Through our partnership with the Rugby League Federation Ghana (RLFG), Futurestars Charity provided a set of Woodbridge jerseys to the St. Michael’s SHS Girls rugby league team.
In addition, all four teams participating in the recently concluded Ashanti Region Rugby League Youth Championship received socks.
While jerseys and socks may appear to be simple pieces of sporting equipment, having the right kit can contribute to a young player’s sense of preparation and representation.
For young athletes, being properly equipped can strengthen their connection to their team and sport while helping them participate with greater confidence.
The initiative forms part of Futurestars Charity’s wider commitment to using sport as a platform for youth development.
Through participation in sport, young people can develop teamwork, discipline, communication and leadership skills while building confidence both on and off the field.
