Futurestars is an exciting UK-registered education-through-sports charity that works with six partner schools in Ghana, West Africa and provides:
Sports & PE sessions, run by qualified coaches, including pre and after-school clubs and an after-school academy
A scholarship programme at the Future Leaders School in Ghana; an independent school with no government funding for children who may otherwise not be in education.
Refurbishment projects as budget allows and individual initiatives working with our donors and volunteers.
A volunteer experience of a lifetime for schools, colleges or corporate groups in Ghana (more information here)

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
Our Scholarship Programme at the Future Leaders School in Accra is funded mostly though the generosity of individual donors. Education in Ghana is free of charge, however, the costs of the basic equipment needed for a child to attend school – registration fees, uniform, shoes, books, and stationery – are not free, meaning that education is out of reach for many families living in acute poverty.
Just £12.50 a month can provide uniform, food, transport and books for one child – you can sign up here.
