A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Better BUSiness Appeal in 2019. It’s thanks to you we now have two new buses, one already on the road in Ghana and the other on it’s way to Togo. Our children can now travel safely to after school Academy instead of walking. They can travel to away matches, tournaments, go on museum and beach trips – so many activities that wouldn’t have been possible before because of cost. We think the buses look great and we hope you do too!
The Better BUSiness appeal is the first major UK fundraiser we have run and we were overwhelmed by the number of Suffolk-based companies willing to give time and money to help underprivileged children in West Africa.
So thank you to our corporate donors OMA Group, Yinson Production WA, Fendercare Marine, Prime Insurance, Hapag-Lloyd. Thank you to Banbury Howard who generously offered their services pro bono to develop and run the fundraising campaign, including a stellar gala dinner at the end. Also our wonderful Auction prizes supplied by Sumaridge Wine Estates, Lydia Brooks, Hintlesham Golf Club, Titus Bramble and the Stellar Group which resulted in our target almost doubling.
