The start of the term saw some of the more disadvantaged chlldren in our projects receive backpacks donated by Arsenal FC.
With thanks also to the staff of Eolis Ghana Limited, who helped ship these bags plus some more books from the UK and joined us on the day to give these out to some of the children who needed them the most.
The donations offered us the opportunity to talk to the children about keeping up with their attendance and their studies

We were also joined by Caleb, one of the Futurestars apprentices. Caleb was 7 when he went to Community 8 Primary School and was back there with us giving out the backpacks. Caleb has great plans for the future and working alongside Silas (Futurestars coach) and Emmanuel (Country Manager) he is finishing his education, working with the charity and developing life skills he needs for his bright future.
