Our Futurestars Scholarship Scheme is now in its third year at the Future Leaders School in Accra and continues to grow. The children we support are from some of the poorest families in our community and without our support they would not have access to school and would not be in education.
Future Leaders continues to expand as more parents are unable to afford to send their children to government schools. This is where the Future Leaders School steps in to offering education at a lower cost. Every child deserves the right to an education and we are committed to supporting the Future Leaders School as they provide the best education they can in the most challenging circumstances, we are committed to supporting the owner and headteacher for the long-term benefit of the children and the generous funding we receive from our individual donors covers the cost of books, school fees, uniforms, transport and food for each child that we support. Futurestars also provides direct support to the school including supporting the teachers’ salaries to ensure every lesson has a qualified teacher. The teachers are well supported by many volunteers who help out at the school too.

If you are interested in supporting the Scholarship scheme you can sign up as a donor for £12.50 per month which covers the equivalent of basic expenses for one child. You will join the growing number of Futurestars supporters who make their donations on a monthly basis. Every pound we raise through this scheme goes directly to the Future Leaders School and its children. The more donors we have the more revenue we can allocate to the school.
