Futurestars were delighted to meet the new headmaster of Cacavelli s Mr Agbelou Kokou. Futurestars Agoe assists the PE teachers during the school day and organise all football and sports events, as well as providing the kit and equipment required – balls, nets, jersey, etc…. Not just on the pitch but the computer room in the clubhouse – generously donated by Fendercare – gets great use, not only for IT lessons for the children but the coaches use it before training and to prepare sports sessions.
While the academy leagues have not been running some 15 Futurestars Agoe players have been loaned to higher league clubs and 8 players (5 girls and 3 boys) have been called up to play for Togo and represent their country – the very first goal scored by the Togo National Team at Morocco Women’s AFCON 2022 was from our own Odette GNINTEGMA against Tunisia . It was the first participation for Togo Women’s national team. we are so proud! (
On the boys side, three of our boys Rafikou, Fechale and Jacques are champions taking the second division club Espoir de Zio to the Top Division in Togo.
All age groups have benefitted from the generous donations from Brighton FC and Norwich FC and were delighted with the new kit!
