What a fantastic tournament hosted by Futurestars Agoe in Lomé this month. A wonderful turnout of around 350 people, teachers and pupils from Cacavelli school, local football teams from around Lomé, local businesses keen to show their support plus football authorities from Agoe district and the Togo Football Association. And of course our Futurestars children!
Lots of great football played, both from the girls and the boys as well as some games, competitions and a juggling demonstration. A special highlight of the day was a wonderful traditional dance performed by Cacavelli school pupils. And the diminutive winner of the keepie uppies competition Emmanuel!
The final results for the football are below – well done everyone and a huge thank you to our donors for making the festival possible, to Raman and his team for organising a wonderful day and to everyone who came along to show their support.
