Back in March this year, we identified an outdoor area at Future Leaders School that had the potential to become a truly multi-purpose space — with the simple addition of shade and a place to rest from the Ghanaian sun.
Now known as The Nest, the area is used daily for teaching, learning, lunchtime, assemblies, and community gatherings. It has quickly become a valued space for both students and staff.
At the end of this term, to celebrate the start of the holidays, teachers and children from both upper and lower primary gathered together in the shade for a fun quiz session. The activity was enjoyed by everyone and is a perfect example of how The Nest can bring the school community together.
