The Nest – a New Shelter at the Future Leaders School

There’s been some quiet construction work taking place at the Future Leaders School this year.  We identified that the area outside the school, which the children use to play in, could become multi-purpose with the addition of some much needed shade.  So the Nest was born, a large canopy that allows the area to be used for teaching, learning, lunch, assemblies and gatherings whilst providing respite from the Ghana sun.

On Friday, March 14th, during the Ghana Day Celebration, we proudly inaugurated The Nest. The special occasion was attended by the Deputy British High Commissioner, Keith McMahon, who officially cut the ribbon and unveiled The Nest, reinforcing the power of collaboration in supporting education.

More than just a canopy, The Nest symbolizes protection, opportunity, and a commitment to creating better learning environments for young minds.

To the entire Future Leaders School community—may The Nest be a place where ideas are shared, friendships are built, and futures are shaped!
