Godwin Akladzi’s journey is an example of what can happen when young people receive the support they need to continue their education and pursue their ambitions.
Through the Futurestars Charity Scholarship Programme, Godwin received support to continue his education. Today, he is pursuing a B.Sc. in Information Technology at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), while also serving as a teacher at Future Leaders School, one of Futurestars Charity’s partner schools.
His journey recently reached another significant milestone when he was recognised at the Maiden Provost’s Awards of the University of Cape Coast’s College of Distance Education as the Overall Best Level 200 Student in the B.Sc. Information Technology Distance Programme.
Godwin achieved an impressive CGPA of 3.9559.
His achievement is particularly meaningful because his journey has come full circle. Having once benefited from educational support, he is now contributing to the education of other young people as a teacher.
