As part of our refurbishment project at Twedaase Basic School last year, Aqua Africa generously donated nine solar panels which power the the block.
The teachers and the PTA at the school thought it would be wise to put in measures to safeguard the panels and with a little help from Futurestars they have raised enough funds to employ a night security man and build a security post for him to guard the school.
These panels have been instrumental in transforming the school’s infrastructure, as they now power all the lights and fans for the classrooms, improving on the learning experience for the kindergarten students in that block.
