William Allen, a long time friend of our project has agreed to become a trustee for Futurestars.
Will has been involved in the
project from its early days when – as a student – he joined us in Ghana to create a video and build up a bank of photography for the charity. (He waited until he was in Ghana to tell Terry Butcher, Titus Bramble and Simon Milton that he is a Norwich City fan!)
After leaving the British Army in 2016, Will continued his military service as a Reservist, alongside studying at the University of Suffolk. In 2017 he travelled out to Ghana to produce our first promotional video and following the success of the charity’s UK launch at Portman Rd, Will returned to Ghana in 2018. Alongside his previous employment as a Course Director at the College of West Anglia, Will took every opportunity to continue supporting the charity. Having realised his passion for sport, education, charitable initiatives, and the positive development of young people, Will is currently employed by the Duke of Edinburgh Award as the Operations Officer for Suffolk.
