Kit Distribution in Ghana & Togo

Saturday 8th December – what a day!

It started as a kit amnesty in the UK – an idea to collect some kit for the children and schools in our project in Ghana 🇬🇭 & Togo 🇹🇬.  It ended up with a full 40ft container (kindly donated by partners Fendercare), containing hundreds of boots, kit and equipment. The container now has a roof and fitted with shelving and will be a much needed store room for our coaches at its permanent home at the Tema stadium. A huge huge thank you to everyone who donated time, kit or services to allow us to fill and transport the container :  Coastal Global, Copleston High School, David Moat, East of England Coop, EUF Ltd, Felixstowe Academy, Greshams Ipswich, Hudsons Signs, Inspire Suffolk Charity, Ipswich Town Academy, John Grose, Kesgrave High School, Kieron Dyer, Maze Logistics, Pro-Kit, SEA Transport, Seven Telematics, Sportsafe UK, STR Skill School, Sportsmed East, Tennial Recruitment. Total Football And a huge huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time this weekend to help us sort through and prepare everything, we were delighted to have volunteers from: Our partners Yinson, OMA Group (Ghana and Togo), Prime Insurance, Fendercare and Hapag-Lloyd Teachers from the Futurestars schools in Tema, and staff from the Ghana Education Service` Boys & girls from the Futurestars development academy Our good friends at the British High Commission and Accra-based  Akwaaba Volunteers
