This month we were delighted to have a visit from Adam Goble from Fendercare Marine. Fendercare are our main donor in Togo and Adam has been a great friend of the project since the early days.
As well as visiting the Futurestars club house to see the children and speak to the coaches, Adam and his colleagues visited Cacavelli School and met with the headmaster.
Futurestars currently provides coaches to help with weekly PE lessons at the school as well as organising games between the classes and providing equipment such as nets and balls (and referees!).
We have recently taken on funding for eight additional teachers at the school which has allowed class sizes to drop from 120 children per class to 80.
