Arsenal Kit bound for West Africa

Futurestars recently took delivery of an amazing 100 boxes of Arsenal kit to distribute in Ghana and Togo.  The kit is brand new but last season and due to a change of supplier won’t be used by Arsenal this year. The Premier League is huge in both countries and to receive a donation from one of the top UK clubs is fantastic, Arsenal have a lot of support in West Africa!

The donation came as a result of a charity and kit conversation between Simon Milton and Bob Holte who set up the Footprints Foundation.  The Footprints Foundation, amongst other things, works closely with the Arsenal Foundation to distribute previous season kit to charitable projects all over the world.

The delivery arrived in time to be included in our container which will ship out to Togo in September along with the donations from the Kit Amnesty.  It will be used by our coaches, teachers, students and local children in our projects in both Lomé, Togo and Tema, Ghana.

SImon Milton commented: “This is recycling at its best and I cannot thank Bob enough for choosing Futurestars to support in 2019.  We now have kit donations from four professional football clubs, Arsenal, Ipswich Town, West Ham United and Norwich City. We also have had many donations from Non-League football clubs in Suffolk, and Leiston Town have been regularly donating for the last few years. We are delighted to accept and distribute the kit on their behalf.”
