Two new Corporate Donors join Futurestars

We are delighted to welcome two new donors to our donor family!

AMGTCO join us as a silver donor in Senegal.  AGMTCO is a shipping agency based in Dakar who have in these difficult times made a new regular commitment to the project which we are thrilled with.  Mohamed Nomeir from AGMTCO commented: “ AGMTCO is committed to provide matchless services to their clients and Business Partners related to shipping and we truly believe in social values and always step forward to take part in activities for the betterment of the society which is why we are delighted to be supporting Futurestars.”

These additional funds will help to support long term goals of the Futurestars Charity. Most recently it has helped to provide the installation of Tippy Taps at the Tema Stadium for the children to use to wash their hands and the additional educational support we are providing for the children while the schools are closed.

ALLIED GHANA join us a bronze donor.  Allied have generously committed to provide all the fuel needed for the Futurestars minibus and car used by the project team and the children, this will allow us to arrange more trips, more away matches and more activities once things get closer to normal.  Richard Danso from Allied commented: “ Allied has a passion to make positive impact on society, especially in the area of developing people and helping to alleviate the hardship among citizens. This reflects in our support for less privileged schools and the consistency in keeping our prices below that of key competitors.

Allied is getting on board to support the Futurestars “education-through-sports” programme because we think it is a noble innovation – using sports to get pupils back to the classroom and to help them keep fit is definitely a very good idea. The programme has the right target group (the youth) and the right method (sports). The number of beneficiaries so far is encouraging and the testimonies are good. For us in Allied, we are proud to be of support and to see this as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).”

Simon Milton commented:  These additional partners we have on board will help us develop new projects and initiatives as part of the Futurestars Strategy. Along with OMA Group, Yinson, Fendercare Marine (UK & Ghana) and Prime Insurance we have an excellent mix of companies supporting Futurestars as part of their own commitment to the local community. Together we will always be able to achieve more. We are delighted to welcome Allied and AGMTCO to the Futurestars Charity and look forward to growing our relationship with them in 2020 and beyond.
